You can find the shipping methods in the Shopware 6 Administration under Settings > Shop > Shipping.
The shipping module allows you to configure any desired shipping method. The shipping integration is not done by creating specific shipping method, but rather by manually assigning carriers to an order in the order module. So the shipping module only serves to inform the customer about the shipping methods you offer, how much these costs and which delivery countries are allowed or blocked.
In the overview of shipping types, all created shipping types are listed by name, description and active status (1).
List settings (2): Here you can show or hide individual columns from the overview.
Kontextmenü (3): Hier kannst Du die entsprechende Versandart bearbeiten, duplizieren oder löschen.
Aktualisieren Button (4) : Updates the current view of the shipping methods.
Create shipping method (5): You can create a new shipping method with this button.
Language selection (6) : Here you set the language for which you want the shipping methods to be displayed.
Connect Sendcloud (7): Here the connection to Sendcloud can be established.
Name (1): Here you enter the name of the shipping method. This is used both internally in the overview and externally in the sales channel.
Active (2): Here you decide whether this shipping method should be active and thus be available.
Description (3): Here you can insert a more detailed description. This will be displayed in the overview as well as in the sales channel.
Upload Logo (4): In this section you can choose your own logo for this shipping method. You can either upload a file from your computer, upload a file from a URL or use a logo that you have already uploaded in the media.
Delivery time (5): Here you can enter a delivery time. This will then be displayed when you select the shipping method.
Tracking URL (6): Here you can enter the tracking URL of the shipping service provider. Instead of the actual tracking number, please use '%s' as placeholder. Shopware will then automatically insert the correct code for each order at this place if it is maintained in the order details.
Tags (7): Here you can enter keywords for the shipping method, so that it can be found more easily later.
Enable service point delivery (8): When the customer selects a shipping method in the front end with this option enabled, a card appears for the customer to select different receiving points to which the package should be delivered.
With an availability rule you decide when shipping is possible with this shipping method. The rules of the rule builder are used for this. If no suitable rule has been created yet, you can also add a new rule directly at this point.
Under price matrix you can now determine the shipping costs for this shipping method. A price matrix is available for this purpose, in which you can define several price rules.
This matrix can be provided with a restriction (1). Here you can select a rule from the Rule Builder or create a new one and the price matrix will only be used if this condition is met. If you do not select a rule here, this price matrix is always used for this shipping method.
To create the price matrix you can choose whether it should be based on predefined properties (4) or on rules from the Rule Builder (5).
As soon as you have created a price matrix, you can add another rule to the price matrix with the button Add new price rule (2). Using the context menu (3) you can remove or duplicate the complete price matrix.
If you create the price matrix according to a property, the properties number of items, shopping cart value, weight and volume are available.
Using the example shopping cart value, such a price matrix would look like this:
Here you can then fill the price matrix with as many price rules and current prices as you like. In this case the first price rule is:
Shopping cart value from 0 to 45 = Price: 4,99€
The second price rule is:
Shopping cart value from 45.01 to any = Price: 0,00€
You can also build the price matrix according to a self-defined rule from the Rule Builder instead of one of the predefined properties.
In this example the price rule is
Delivery country is Germany = Price: 5.99€
In the basic settings of your sales channel you will find the item shipping methods. Here you can enter all available shipping methods as well as a standard shipping method.
Sendcloud is a shipping software for online shops that optimises the entire shipping process by providing an all-in-one solution. The shipping labels can be printed out directly via the Shopware Admin and are billed via the Sendcloud account. You can choose from a variety of shipping services and customers can decide how they want to receive their parcels. For example, depending on the configuration of the shipping method, a map opens when you select a shipping method and shows parcel collection & drop off services that can accept the parcels.
In the "Shipping" section under Settings > Shop > Shipping you can connect to your Sendcloud account by clicking Connect (1) or if you have not yet created an account, register.
In order to establish the connection, all billing information must be fully entered under Settings > Account > Company.
If the Sendcloud account is successfully connected, the banner will change in the shipping overview:
After Sendcloud has successfully connected, shipping labels can now be created for orders in the Orders section.
Shipping method (1): This lists which Sendcloud shipping method is selected for this order. This can be changed in the order details.
Shipping labels (2): Here you can create the appropriate label for the specified Sendcloud shipping method. Creating a label may incur different costs depending on the selected shipping method.
Context menu (3): Here you can open the order details and edit the order. The Sendcloud shipping method can be changed here.
In the order details delivery section, connecting to Sendcloud adds three additional options.
Through the Sendcloud Package Status (1) the current package status can be tracked, which is provided by the shipping service provider.
If the option Enable Service Point Delivery is activated for the selected shipping method under Settings > Shop > Shipping, the Service Point Delivery (2) option specifies the delivery location selected by the customer.
The Sendcloud shipping method option (3) allows the shipping method set for the order to be changed after the order is put into edit mode. The prices for each shipping method are shown after the name.
Once the shipping method has been determined, a label can be created with the appropriate information about the order. This process can either be initiated directly in the order overview by clicking on Create label, or within the order details of the respective order. Here you can also trigger the creation of a label in the delivery area.
Creating a label results in the costs indicated for the shipping method.
After the label has been created, it can be downloaded with Download label (1) or cancelled with Cancel label (2).
You can find out how to integrate other parcel services and shipping methods or how to use Sendcloud in the documentation provided by Sendcloud.
