You are currently viewing the article on an older Shopware version!
In the menu of the Shopware Administration you will find the point sales channel. You can create a new sales channel via the Plus symbol. Already created sales channels are displayed below the point sales channel and can be edited by clicking on them.
To add a new sales channel click on the plus symbol next to the menu item sales channel.
In the window that opens, you decide whether you want to create a new sales channel with HTML storefront or a headless sales channel that only provides the API interface.
The first thing you need to do is to define some basic settings for the new sales channel. This includes the name (1), the available payment methods (2) as well as shipping methods (3), the countries (4) and languages (6) which are available and the currencies (5) which should be used. You can directly specify a standard (7) for this information. You can also specify the standard customer group (9) for this sales channel here.
You can also specify whether the sales channel should be activated (8) directly or deactivated for the time being.
Under Navigation you can specify one entry point for the main navigation, one for the footer navigation and one for the service navigation.
In the Standard Responsive Theme the main navigation is central and consists of the shop categories.
The footer navigation is listed below the main navigation. The service navigation is located in the upper right corner under Service/Help.
Under the item Domains you can create several domains for your sales channel, each with its own virtual URL, its own language, its own currency and its own snippet-set.
In this way you can create several language shops for one shop.
Finally, you can generate an API access key under options. With this you can connect various connections, such as merchandise management systems or similar, to the Shopware API.
After you have made all the configurations, you can save the settings you have made for the sales channel using the save button in the upper right corner.
You can assign a theme to your sales channel in the Theme tab.
First you will be shown the theme that is currently assigned to the sales channel. If you click on the thumbnail of the theme or on Change theme, you can assign one of the installed themes. Edit themes takes you directly to the theme configuration.
