We provide Partners with intensive support in convincing potential customers to use Shopware. By registering a deal, you give us the signal that you are already in contact with a potential customer. After registering a deal, we will contact you (not the potential customer) to clarify further details.
Registering a Deal as a partner has multiple deal-related benefits:
For you as a partner, registering a deal bring further valuable benefits, according to the partner programme*:
* Details on the Partner Programme can be found on the Shopware Integration Partner Agreement.
Log in to your Partner Account. You can register a new Deal under Partner > Deals. Please enter all the requested information in the registration form. The more information, the better.
As soon as the Deal qualifies according to the ChAMP criteria, it can become a concrete sales opportunity and the Deal Registration will be added to your Partner Account. After the Deal has been successfully registered, our sales team will contact you to help you convince the potential customer.
If a merchant, retailer or brand is a potential Shopware customer, we are talking about a Deal. Retailers who actively use Shopware are Shopware Customers. In your partner account, you can add your existing customer projects as references to display them on your partner profile on shopware.com. If necessary, your references can also be promoted via the Shopware marketing channels.
ChAMP stands for “Challenges”, “Authority”, “Money” and “Priority”. For each criterion, there are helpful questions that help to fully qualify the Deal.
Challenges: By asking about the challenges of a potential customer, we can offer suitable and concrete solutions.
Questions:
• What current challenges is the company facing and why now? What will happen if this situation is not resolved?
• What will be the biggest challenge in introducing Shopware and how can we solve it?
You can find common challenges below.
Authority: Identify right at the start who the right person is for a successful sales process and therefore needs to be convinced. These are usually decision-making roles or people close to these.
Questions:
• How are (technical/commercial) decisions usually made in the company?
• Who is the responsible decision-maker, and which people have a significant influence on them?
Money: Find out what investment budget and scope is available, and what expectations are placed on the project. However, do not start your qualification interview with the topic of budget. It can be easier to approach this topic slowly and after the others.
Questions:
• Has a specific project budget already been set?
• What services are expected to be included?
• Into which project and budget phases should the project be divided (MVP, POC or other gradual implementations, or a full-scale project)?
Priority: Record a precise timetable for the project, also in the context of "Money". This will allow us to relate the feasibility and urgency of the "Challenges" and find out the priority of the actual project.
Questions:
• What is the deadline and what project stages are planned, and why? When should the go-live take place?
What other dependencies and influences are there in the project (e.g. other service providers, systems, processes in the company)?
