You can configure the countries of your shop in Admin under Settings > Shop > Countries.
In the overview you will find all configured countries that are currently available within your languages in your sales channels.
You can select your language (1) here first. In the table you will find some columns which give you more information about the available countries.
In the first column you can find the configured countries (2). The next column shows you which position (3) the respective country has in your storefront. Furthermore the column ISO (4) shows you the country code according to ISO 3166 (e.g. DE) and the column ISO3 (5) the 3-digit ISO country code (e.g. DEU). In the column Active (6) you can either activate or deactivate the respective country. The column List view (7), which is displayed here with three dots, allows you to make further settings within the table view. So you can choose for example which columns are displayed or in which order they should be displayed.
With a click on the button Add country, which is located in the upper right corner of the overview, you can create a new country for your shop.
In the mask for the creation of new countries, you first enter a name (1) and a position (2), which refers to the extent to which the country appears sorted within your shop. You also assign the ISO codes (3 & 4) to the country.
You can also directly preselect if the country should be active (5).
With the option shipping available (6) you can determine if shipping should be available for this country or not. In your storefront the following note will appear for the customer who wants to order from the country with the option disabled "Delivery to the selected shipping address is not possible".
The option Tax-free (7) offers you the possibility to offer tax-free deliveries to the respective country. For this purpose you can either activate or deactivate the option. If the option is activated, the products will already be displayed tax-free in the listing, on the item details page, in the shopping cart and in the checkout.
If you wish to specify a mandatory federal state for a country, you can activate this by selecting the option Federal state required for registration (8). Next, you have to add states/province (9) to your country here, otherwise no selection can be displayed during registration.

For the configuration of the states/province, please click the button add states/province this will open a pop-up window in which you can assign the name, the ISO code and the position of the state.

If you want to edit an already existing country, click on the three dots next to the desired country in the overview.
This opens a context menu with the options Edit and Delete.
In the mask you have the possibility to configure the generally stored data (1) and also to make changes to your states/provinces (2). You can also add new states/provinces as explained above.
