Promotions

The menu item promotions offers you a module with which you can create discount campaigns for your sales channels.
Within this module you can limit the created actions by rules and you can also set the time frame for them.

Overview

The discount module shows you an overview of all your currently running or configured promotions.
Within this mask you can also add new promotions or view existing ones.

A click on the symbol to the right of an existing promotion opens the context menu, which offers you the options to edit this promotion, duplicate it or remove it.

Add a new promotion

To create a new promotion you have to click on the button Add Promotion within the mask.
This will open a new mask in which you can now set the basic configuration for a new promotion

The extended configuration regarding rules, discount definition etc. can be found within the created promotion.

Name: Here you can give your promotion a name.
Sales channels: Here you have the option to assign the promotion to your sales channels.
This allows you to define different promotions for different shops.
Valid from / Valid until: You can use these fields to define whether your promotion should be limited in time and, if so, from when to when.
Possible Redemptions: The redemption field is available in two versions, both of them allowing you to limit the use of this promotion to a maximum redeemable count.
Promotion Code: If you don't want to activate the action globally, you can activate it via an promotion code, which your customers have to enter in order for it to take effect.
You can switch this option to active by clicking on "Use Promotion Code".
The code here for you define below in the section "Promotion Codes".
