With the help of the Shopping Ads with Google function you have the possibility to transfer your products to your Google Merchant Account in the product comparison portal Google Shopping and offer them there.
You can also create a smart campaign for the products in your Google Merchant Center Account directly from your Google Ads account.
Shopping Ads with Google is set up in the form of a sales channel. Click on the plus symbol on the left side next to Sales channels to create a new sales channel. Then click on the Create channel button next to Shopping Ads with Google.
In the general settings you specify what the sales channel itself should be called and which products exactly should be synchronised.
Name (1): Enter the name of the sales channel in your shopware environment here.
Storefront sales channel (2): For product synchronisation, specify here from which sales channel the products should be synchronised.
Storefront-Domain (3): If you use more than one domain in the selected storefront, enter the domain here which you would like to connect to your Google Merchant Center via this interface.
In order for your sales channel and storefront domain to be correctly verified by Google, it is necessary that you set up the Google Analytics function in the sales channel that you connect to here. This function is also necessary for the later tracking of the statistics.

Dynamic product group (4): Dynamic product group (4): Select a dynamic product group here, which contains all products you want to synchronise with Google Shopping. You can find out how dynamic product groups work and how to create one here.
Once you have saved the sales channel and thus created it, you can use the Connect button here to connect your Google Account in order to use the Google programs.
Google-Account (1): Here you can see to which Google account this sales channel is currently connected. You can use the Disconnect button to disconnect the current account to connect to another Google Account. The Google Merchant Center account linked to the Google Account will of course be disconnected as well.
Merchant-Center-Account (2): Here you can see the current Google Merchant Center account with the corresponding account ID. On the right side you can see the current status of the account.
Website (3): This is where we check if the domain you selected during setup has already been claimed in your Google Merchant Center account. For more information on claiming your own website, please click here.
Here you can temporarily deactivate or activate the sales channel. The synchronization with the Google Merchant Center account and all API connections are inaccessible for this time.
Here the sales channel can be completely deleted. All settings and API connections will be lost irrevocably.
In the Products tab you will find all settings and information about the products to be transferred to the Google Merchant Center.

In this section you will find the settings for synchronising the available products.
Manual synchronisation (1): With this button you can synchronise the current product stock.
Automatic synchronization (2): Here you can deactivate the automatic synchronisation. This means that the products will only be synchronised if you synchronise them manually.
If you do not deactivate the automatic synchronisation, you can set an interval and a time for the synchronisation here.
The automatic synchronisation will then be carried out within the scheduler. This is done by executing the command bin/console scheduled-task:run in your shop's main directory or by having the server execute it regularly.
Here you will find a list of products that are synchronised with the current settings. In addition to general information about the product, you will also find the current status of the Google synchronisation.
Update (1): If you are currently making changes to the products or the Dynamic Product Group on the basis of which the products are synchronised, you can use this button to update the view at any time. This way you can always check which products are currently being synchronised to the
Problems (2): Via the context menu you can open the overview of the current problems. If the status of the product shows errors, they are listed here in detail. In addition, a suggestion for solving the problem is displayed.
In the category allocation you assign the categories from your shop to one Google category each. In the background, all products in the shop will be assigned to the respective Google category.
Category tree (1): On the left side you will find your category tree. Here you can select all categories one after the other in which products from your Dynamic Product Group are located, which you synchronise with the Google-Merchant-Centre.
Google category (2): For each category on the left side you choose a suitable category from the Google Shopping categories. The products from your category will be assigned to the corresponding Google category after synchronization.
Subcategory (3): If you have selected a category with subcategories on the left side and a suitable Google category on the right side, you can use this button to assign the Google category to all subcategories from your shop.
This section shows the Google Ads account currently in use.
If you want to remove your current Google Ads account and connect to another account, you can do so by clicking the Disconnect button. You will then have the opportunity to connect to another Google Ads account in this area.
To create a new campaign for the synchronised products, click on the Create campaigns button in the Campaigns section. Afterwards, some information is required to start the campaign.
Each month you pay no more than your daily budget multiplied by the average number of days in the month. It is possible that on some days the expenses are significantly above or below your daily budget.
Products of the campaign (3): Select here which products from your Google Merchant Centre should be advertised with this campaign. You can either apply the campaign to all synchronised products or use filters to limit the campaign to specific products.
Duration of the campaign (4): Here you can pause and restart the campaign at any time.
Schedule (5): Here you can set a schedule for the campaign and specify when it starts and ends. Once the campaign is active, it will only be advertised in this time window.
In the Reports section, you can view comprehensive statistics about your account. You will also find additional statistics on your campaigns, the products advertised and the product partitions.
