You have the possibility to create a Shopware 6 shop in the Shopware Cloud, so we take care of the technical aspects of your shop and keep it up to date with updates.
There are different ways to create a cloud shop, which are explained below.
If you want to use your existing shopware account to manage the cloud shop, you should create your cloud shop in your shopware account to link them together.
To get started with your Shopware 6 shop, you need to enter some basic details in order to create the shop in the cloud.
You can create a cloud shop via the homepage https://www.shopware.com/en/#create-onlineshop.
When creating the cloud shop via the homepage, a shopware account is also created. You will receive a double opt-in email for this. The login data of the Shopware account is identical to the login data of the previously created cloud shop.
Creating the cloud shop starts with a modal window where you enter your email address, a secure password and a shop name. Don't forget to accept the privacy policy and the terms and conditions after you have read them. Then you can click on the Create onlineshop button.
Please note that the shop name entered here determines your domain and cannot be changed later.
After you have clicked on Start now, the installation will be started. In the upcoming screen, you will see the progress of the installation.
Shop setup
When setup the shop, you can first define both the default language and the default currency of your shop. To do this, select the language and currency you want from the drop-down lists and then click on Save as default.
After entering the default language and the default currency, some general company information will be requested.
Once you have entered the company information and proceeded to the next step, the installation is complete.

As soon as you click on Open your shop, you will see the login mask for the administration area of your shop.
To log in, enter the e-mail address and password you have previously entered. You will then find yourself in the dashboard of your administration.
You can also create the shop directly from your existing Shopware account at https://account.shopware.com/. To do so, navigate to the Shop operator area > Shops after you have logged in. Then click on the button Create new shop in the upper right corner.
In the window that opens, select Create a new cloud shop and then click the Next Step button.
Cloud shops can only be created with logged in users of a company. If you try to create a cloud shop with your ShopwareID, you will receive a message telling you to switch to user management and create your first user. You can find more information about user management in our Wiki.
In the next step you can enter the shop name, which is also used for your domain. The future domain will be shown below the input field.
You can check the availability of the shop name directly by clicking the button Check availability.
To create your cloud shop, click on Create new shop at the bottom right.
Afterwards you will find yourself in the overview of your shops and can administrate your just created cloud shop under Administration.
Now you can set the default language and default currency of your shop.
After you enter the default language and currency, the shop is finalized.

As soon as you click on Open Shop, you will see the login mask for the administration area of your shop.
To log in, enter the e-mail address and password you have previously entered. You will then find yourself in the dashboard of your administration.
In the dashboard of your administration you can see the information that your store is in a test phase of 30 days. The test phase ends at the latest after the 30 days or even earlier if you book a plan before the 30 days expire.
If you do not book a plan in advance, you will be reminded to book a plan for your cloud store. After the trial period the admin will be blocked and you will only be able to book a plan.
If you want to delete your cloud shop, you can do this either via your Shopware Account or in the administration of your shop.
Merchant Area > Shops > 'Cloud Shop'
You can start the cancellation and deletion process by clicking "Deposit cancellation" under the point "Do you want to cancel your Cloud Shop?".
Settings > Account > Cancellation
You can start the cancellation and deletion process by clicking "Cancel Plan and delete Shop"
In the window that opens, select the reason on why you no longer want to use the cloud shop. Then use the "Next step" button.
In this step, you have to select when your shop should be deleted.
Delete at the end of the billing period: The shop will be deleted at the end of the billing period.
Delete shop immediately: The shop will be deleted immediately.
All content and data of the shop will be irreversibly deleted. Export all legally relevant data, such as invoices, beforehand and store them in a safe place.
Accounts with external partners like Mollie or Sendcloud will still remain and need to be cancelled manually.
